What is Therapy with Paige Like?
Together, we will explore your complex and unique lived experience. We will work to better understand some of your patterns & the stories and messages that have been internalized about who you are. We’ll work with your nervous system (fight, flight and freeze mode; our automatic, survival responses) to explore how different situations or experiences live in your physical body, and we can play with what it feels like to live from a place of thriving and alignment instead of survival mode. Therapy with me is warm and free of judgement. In sessions, there are moments of laughter, opportunities for tears, and sighs of deep relief in feeling seen and understood.
Certifications and Trainings
In my work with clients, I utilize both Somatic Experiencing (SE) and traditional talk therapy. I have training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, sandtray therapy, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am certified in Adoption Competency (TAC) and have extensive experience supporting families and individuals touched by adoption or foster care. I am also Board Certified through the Telebehavioral Health Institute in delivering telehealth mental health services.
I participated in conducting research on the benefits and impact of mindfulness practices with Harvard Medical School and the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. Link to Research
